Theresa Dornieden studied medical biology at the University Duisburg-Essen and completed her studies with her master thesis in the field of transplantation immunology in 2017. From 2017 to 2021
she worked as a PhD student at Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin in the field of immunology and oncology. Her thesis addressed the signatures and specificity of tissue-resident lymphocytes in
the human kidney and their impact on kidney transplantation and cancer.
During her PhD, she started to get interested in the profession of a patent attorney, so that she started her training in intellectual property law at the firm Michalski Hüttermann & Partner
in early 2021.
Theresa Dornieden speaks German and English, as well as reasonable French. She likes spending time in the nature doing sports, especially running and road racing, and being at home cooking.
